Northern Soul

During the time that Motown was at it’s height, there was 100’s of smaller labels turning out fantastic dance tunes but due to the dominance of Motown, they never found their way onto the radio and rarely succeeded. However, this music eventually found it’s way into the hearts and souls of music lovers in the north of England, and Northern Soul was born. This music was very similar to the early Motown sound and can keep your feet tapping all night. The following list is only a brief look at what is available for your enjoyment.
